If you watched our recent YouTube video, you know that we are in full swing with pre-season boat work. Jeff took a one-way rental to Annapolis over the weekend and is now adjusting to life back on the hard. Despite being aboard for a few days already, he has refused to remove the winter shrink wrap, as he feels that it helps provide a bit of insulation from the still nippy April air.
Back at the homestead, I have been busy setting up the sewing machine and planning a work schedule that includes new salon cushions, a new stack pack, repairs to our bimini, completing a bug enclosure for the cockpit, and restuffing some store bought pilllows that have gone flat. I will also do a massive provisioning event that will include visits to Costco, Hy-vee, Trader Joe’s, and Schnucks.

The dated but still in relatively good condition cushion covers that came with the boat when we purchased her.
I have about 5 weeks to provision and get all of these sewing projects complete. Please send encouraging words, podcast suggestions, and bottles of Riesling 🙂
It has been a little chilly lately, but it’ll warm up soon enough.
Safe travels.
